Dynamics of Euler Method for the First Order Delay Differential Equation

Abstract: The dynamics of the first order delay differential equation is studied by applying an Euler method. It is showed that a sequence of Hopf bifurcations occur at the positive fixed point as the delay increases. Meanwhile, the stability of the fixed point is analyzed. At last, some numerical experiments are given to verify the correctness of the result.
