Abstract: In order to measure the bubble velocity, the main parameter of seafloor seepage, this paper proposes a method that the homologous acoustic is divided into two parts by acoustic wave divider. The structure is designed based on acoustic waveguide theory and acoustic wave propagation principle. Verification experiments of the transducer indicate that the performance of two receiving transducers is basically identical, which can meet the calibration experiments of wave divider. Experimental comparison of the wave divider characteristics in air and water has been made. The experiments in air show that the path, amplitude and spectrum characteristics are almost consistent after the homologous acoustic wave goes through two branches of the divider, which proves the design is reasonable; while the experiments in water show that the energy of homologous acoustic wave loses about 20% through two branches of the divider, indicating that in order to reduce the loss of wave in water, the acoustic reflection components are needed.
