Abstract:

Phase-contrast spectral optical coherence tomography (PC-SOCT) method based on temporal phase unwrapping is proposed, for continuous measuring the depth-resolved deformation fields. The interference pattern between reference plane and the sample is recorded firstly, and then the deformation field is evaluated after restoring the phase difference maps by temporal phase unwrapping algorithm. The advantages of the method are high measurement speed, high sensitivity, and strong anti-noise ability. An experiment system with depth range of 6mm and depth resolution of 15μm is built, and the method is validated respectively by measuring the deformation of curing process and thermal deformation inside a silicone rubber film. It is proved that this method is very suitable for studying nondestructively the dynamic mechanical properties of internal polymers.
