New Location Method of ID Card Numbers

Abstract: A new location method is proposed in this paper.Based on the analysis of RGB color field,the image of ID card is made color conversion by red component and located with difference method.And then the located areas are separately binarized based on mean and standard deviation.This method is simple and practical.It can effectively solve the problem of location of ID card numbers.
