Heat Generation Behavior of EV Battery and Its Thermal Management Technology

Abstract: The studies and the practical measuring results on the heat generation behavior of high performance HEV battery under conditions of charge,discharge and overcharge have been reviewed.On the basis of summarizing the advantage and disadvantage of battery thermal management system(BTM) using air and liquid cooling,it is pointed out that PCM based BTMS for lithium ion power battery would become an important trend in the future.The general designing procedure of BTMS is simply introduced at the end o...
