A Method of Lip Locating Based on Canny Algorithms and Projection

Abstract: First,the HSV skin model and the geometrical feature are used to detect the face.And then the face is segmented in order to reduce the disturbance by eyes and eyebrows.Finally the lip is accurately located with canny algorithms and projection.The experimental results show that this method is simple and exact.
