Linear quadratic control of a class of continuous-time singular stochastic affine systems is investigated. After establishing some concepts of the stability for stochastic singular systems, the condition of the stability is presented by means of a linear matrix inequality. Then, by utilizing Riccati equation approach, the existent conditions of optimal feedback control in finite horizon and infinite horizon are respectively obtained by means of a generalized differential Riccati equation or a generalized algebraic Riccati equation. And explicit expressions of the optimal feedback controls and optimal cost function are given.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(609KB)

Bus transit service quality is a major factor that affects public transport users’ access to bus service. In order to assess how university students make choices and trade-offs in traveling cost, traveling time, reliability, in-bus environment and waiting time, and to investigate the extent to which the components of bus transit service quality vary according to consumption level, bus transit service quality is analyzed based on the conjoint analysis. Through a data survey and analysis, the utility values of traveling cost, traveling time, reliability, in-bus environment and waiting time of the high-consumption-level group and the low-consumption-level group are obtained. Then the factors’ weights are derived through the utility values. The results show that there are no relations between the consumption level and the university students’ evaluation of bus transit. Furthermore, the university students value the most the in-bus environment, which is followed by reliability, traveling time and waiting time. Also, the university students do not care about price.

A method for automatically extracting the knee cavity model is presented. Test of intersection between normal and facets is utilized to distinguish the boundary facets of cavity, and these boundary facets are used as seeds to extract two inner cavity surfaces of the femur and tibia by region growing, and then the holes on the extracted surfaces are filled once the boundaries of the holes are automatically detected. Smoothing handle is also implemented to eliminate the jagged outline. At last, the cavity model of knee joint is created by suturing the two extracted surfaces.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(1854KB)

To solve the problem of high cost in updating the fingerprint database in terms of time and effort, the theory of compressed sensing and focus Lagrange interpolation algorithm are proposed in the offline phase. The process of fingerprint vector refactoring is transformed into the problem of minimum  l0 norm optimization by compressed sensing, and total variation is used to recover the original fingerprint vector. Focus Lagrange interpolation algorithm takes the advantage of spatial correlation of sample nodes, by which the fingerprint database can be rebuilt through measuring a small amount of fingerprints. Finally a practical experiment in real indoor environment shows that the theory of compressed sensing achieves higher accuracy than focus Lagrange interpolation algorithm.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(1491KB)

In the engine management system based on the torque control, the opening angle of the accelerator pedal only reflects the driver’s requirement of the torque. And the engine management system calculates the driver’s torque request through the opening angle of the accelerator pedal. Based on the change regulation of the engine speed, a perfect model of an engine speed is created. When there is a large change of the torque requirement, the actual torque of the engine gradually changes at the driver’s requirement with the method of the filtering, which is to weaken the oscillation of the engine speed caused by the gap and flexible deformation of the power train, which will improve the driving performance. Reference for the optimization of the torque control is provided.

Then, the system’s compositions are introduced, and the mathematical expression of its output power is derived. According to experiment result, the short-circuit current of solar cells has almost linear dependence on the solar irradiation with a higher growth rate at low irradiation. Compared with a CPV-only system working under air cooling condition, the CPV-TE hybrid system has a higher open-circuit voltage. The daily average increment of it is 0.16V which means an average enhancement of 5.67%. The maximum output power of the thermoelectric generator, which is 0.52W, appears in the descending part of the solar irradiation curve and the total generating capacity of the thermoelectric generator is 2.9 W·h.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(3650KB)

The nanosheet Al(OH)3/Mg(OH)2 composite retardant coated with oleic acid is synthesized through chemical compounding technique. The SEM result indicates that through changing the ratio of aluminum and magnesium can different morphology nanosheet composite retardant be prepared. The XRD result indicates that composite retardant is based on Al(OH)3, whose surface is coated with Mg(OH)2. The IR result indicates that composite retardant is coated with oleic acid by way of carboxylic acid salt. The EDS and TG result indicates that oleic acid is coated well-distributed, while Al(OH)3 and Mg(OH)2 are compounded near the ratio of reactant. The thermal analysis (TG and DTA) result indicates that compared with Al(OH)3, Mg(OH)2, and the physical mixture of Al(OH)3 and Mg(OH)2, flame retardancy of composite retardant is greatly improved.

    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2016, 33 (02): 76-80.   DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2016.02.015
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(1865KB)

Dy3+, Eu3+, and Dy3+-Eu3+ doped Ba2CaWO6 phosphors are synthesized by solid-state method. The structural and morphological studies of the Ba2CaWO6 phosphors are conducted by measuring X-ray diffraction pattern and scanning electron microscope images. The photoluminescence (PL) spectra of the Ba2CaWO6:Eu3+ phosphor exhibit the intense red emission due to the transition of 5D0-7F1/7F2 while the Ba2CaWO6:Dy3+ phosphor shows the blue (4F9/2-6H15/2) and yellow (4F9/2-6H13/2) emissions. The Eu3+/Dy3+ ions co-doped Ba2CaWO6 phosphor shows the improved white light by shifting towards the warm white region. The energy transfer from Dy3+ to Eu3+ ions is investigated by means of PL intensities. The luminescence intensities and chromaticity coordinates can be modified by controlling the concentration and the ration of doping Dy3+ and Eu3+. The calculated chromaticity coordinates indicate that Ba2CaWO6:Eu3+/Dy3+ phosphors may be suitable for the fabrication of near-UV excitation-based white light-emitting diodes.

This paper characterizes the structure of metal complex DMY-Cu(Ⅱ)after its preparation through UV spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA). The results indicate that DMY and Cu2+ ion are easy to form complexes whose composition is [C15H10O8Cu]·H2O. It further studies the scavenging capacity of DMY-Cu(Ⅱ)on superoxide anion radical (O2-·),hydroxyl radical (OH·)and DPPH radical(DPPH·). The finding of the investigation is that the complex DMY-Cu(Ⅱ) has a great cleaning effect on OH·, O2-· and DPPH·, which outweighs the DMY ligand.
