Optimized structure,metal affinities and charge population of thymine-Ca+complex are determined by employing Density Functional Theory（DFT） at a high level of the B3LYP exchange correlation potential in connection with the 6-311+G（2df,2p） basis set.Compared with other tautome of thymine,T3-Ca+is the most stable one and its charge redistribution is most obvious.

PbZrO(3)(PZ) thin films grown on fused quartz substrates are prepared by sol-gel process. The crystal structure of PZ thin films has been studied by XRD. The results show that the well-crystallized PZ thin film is pseudocubic phase. When the film on fused quartz substrate is annealed at 750?℃, the grain size is about 30～50?nm. The optical transmittance spectra of the PbZrO(3)thin films on fused quartz substrates annealed at 450, 600 and 750?℃ are measured with a double-beam UV-VIS scanning spectrophotometer. The transmission spectra of the samples are measured, using air as a reference at a wavelength range 200 to 900?nm. The results show that the band gaps are 4.11, 4.56 and 4.59?eV, respectively, for the films annealed at 450, 600 and 750?℃.

A modified sericite used as polyethylene reinforcing filler is developed by changing sericite squama structure by means of supersonic gas crushing and chemical surface modification. The interface behaviors of modified sericite and polyethylene composite, as well as the effect of filling content of modified sericite on polyethylene mechanical property, have been studied. The results have benefit to the nonmetallic mineral deep processing and the investigation of resin based composites.

This paper presents the theory and methodology of a relatively simple and practical modal test approach based on ambient excitation for long span bridges. In this approach, some fundamental parameters, such as mode shapes and their corresponding frequencies as well as the damping ratios, can be found by a fast process of spectra analysis of the measured response signal. Also, its results are direct and reliable. The successful practices of the modal test on Guangdong Jinma Cable-stayed Bridge shows that the method is valid.

In this paper the performance of uniform static pressure ventilating duct is analyzed on the basis of flow dynamics ,and its mathematic model offlow is deduced on the analyzing basis.At the same time the law and specialty of velocity’s variation and static pressure in the main ventilating duct are studied. In the end through the experiments the result of analysis is testified and the improving measures for the duct are pointed out.

Based on the statistical data from 1984 to 2001, this paper employs Cobb-Douglas production function and the method of Solow remaining value to calculate and analyze the contributions to the total output increase in construction industry of China. The results show that its annual increase rate of the total output is 16.91% in average during the period. The main contributions come from capital input with (65.11%) and labor input with 20.29%. However, technology contributes only 14.60%. It is manifested that technological progress is not significant enough in the traditional construction industry. The total output increase belongs to external expanding development. In the new situation of entering WTO, therefore, it is urgent to enhance the efficiency and expand internal improvements to meet the challenges in the future.
