Abstract: On the base of a deep foundation pit in Guangzhou,through analyzing engineering geological conditions and venues surrounding the environment,it proposes the design method of composite soil nailing walls and construction program.At the same time,it suggests ways to handle the special circumstances during the construction period,and analyses the causes.The excavation site monitoring results verify the practicality of composite soil nailing in the pit maintenance.
