Abstract: The rise in reverse logistics promotes the growth of third-party logistics recycling businesses responsible for the collection, storage and transport. Based on the analysis of impact factors on the cost of recycling enterprises, it discussed the alternate running of forward logistics and reverse logistics, and studied the optimization of the problems with transportation and inventory plans of recycling businesses via the employment of the EOQ model. Finally, a numerical example was given to examine the proposed model.
