Abstract: Based on the deep research on zerotree wavelet compression encoding algorithm,a kind of improved wavelet zerotree encoding algorithm is proposed. Firstly,the haar wavelet basis was used to carry out the wavelet decomposition of the image. After the decomposition image,the EZW encoding was made,not decoding the image immediately,but before the EZW decoding,the Huffman encoding and decoding process was included.
