Abstract: new device-control grid was introduced into the powder electrostatic-eliminator to improve the efficiency of electrostatic elimination. The control grid was a cylindrical metal foil, pasted in the pipe wall of PVC. The efficiency of electrostatic elimination was improved by controlling the polarity of the grid voltage. Ways of designing an intelligent powder electrostatic-eliminator are presented.
