Abstract: Scientific and reasonable index system of land use is an important embodiment of small town planning.Regarding the small town as a community this paper wholly investigates the existing land use situation of small town communities around Guangzhou City,points out the problems,and optimizes the index system of land use.The whole work provides suggestion for further modifying and then establishing scientific and reasonable index system.
