H_∞ Guaranteed Cost Control for Discrete-time Uncerta in Singular Systems

Abstract: The problem of H_∞ guaranteed cost control for a class of discrete-time uncertain singular systems is studied.A sufficient condition for the solvability to the problem in terms of certain matrix inequalities is obtained.Furthermore,the H_∞ guaranteed cost controller design method is given.The control law guarantees that the closed-loop systems is regular,causal,as well as stable,and satisfies a prescribed H_∞ norm constraint.The cost of the closed-loop systems is within a certain bound for all these admissible uncertainties.Finally,a numerical example is given to illustrate the design method.
