Study of Photo-catalytic Degradation of Cationic Brilliant Red 5GN Solution by TiO2/Coke

Abstract: It is studied that the degradation of cationic brilliant red 5GN solution with immobiled TiO2 photo-catalyst prepared by binding method that nanosized TiO2 is adsorbed to coke by sodium silicate,using ultraviolet lamp or sunlight as light sources.The results show that the 5GN solution has marked degradation under experimental conditions of immobilized TiO2 of 3 g/L and 10% H2O2 of 0.1 mL.The concentration reducing content of cationic brilliant red 5GN with the concentration of 20 mg/L is more th...
