A Study of the Correlation Between Tube-diameter and Chirality in Electronic Dynamics of Single-walled Carbon Nanotubes

Abstract: Regarding both the finite size and the disorder,the dynamic behavior of electron in the single-walled carbon nanotubes with various tube-diameter and chirality is studied in terms of quantum diffusion theory.The results show that there exists a transition from ballistic to nonballistic behavior with the disorder strength increasing.Interestingly,the disorder and defect have different influences on the electronic transport in the nanotubes with various tube-diameter and/or chirality.For the large...
