Abstract: 【Abstract】 A stellar auto-searching algorithm,based on mathematical morphology,was proposed.Then a new centering algorithm—Gaussian Fit,was chosen to calculate the center of the stellar image.Real CCD images were used to test the algorithm.The measurement results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
