Abstract: DWPI patent database of THOMSON group was chosen,literature on LED lighting technology patents between January 1 1965 to December 31 2008 was collected,and the associated patent database was established.Derwent innovation Index patent analysis system was chosen.These LED lighting technology patents were analyzed deeply from the total amount of patent applications,and key LED patents and key patent holders were analyzed respectively.
