Simulation of W ind Speed Time-Series Using Linear Filter Method and Model Order Identification

Abstract: Time-domain analysis method is one of the major methods of analyzing wind-induced structure vibration，but the method needs a series of samples of wind speed or wind pressure time-series．The simulation of time-series of wind speed using AR model and AIC rule was introduced and analyzed in detail．The method was implemented，andan example was given to verify it．The results show that the AR model is effective in simulating wind speed time-seties with time and space correlativity．
