Abstract: DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis)was used to evaluate the“relative efficiency”of the technical research institutions of Guangdong Province in 2006，and the overall efficiency and scale benefits were obtained．Besides the problem of low efficiency in some institutions was f0und．The study is of value to：future improvement．
