New Reinforcement Method for Strip Foundations

Abstract: A new method for strip foundations reinforced by anchor bars to improve their bending strength is put forward. The method for single strip foundations reinforced by anchor bars is analyzed by combining the analytic method with the iteration and force method. Moreover,the method for cross strip foundations is analyzed by using the concentrated force distribution method.
