Study on Microstructure Changes of Soft Clay before and after Triaxial Impact Load

In this paper the impact tests of soft clay have been done by using staticdynamictrue triaxial test system of modified SPAX2000. With the help of scanning electron microscope(SEM) technology, the microstructural images of the soft clay, and eight microstructural parameters including the number of pore, total area, the classification of area, total perimeter, the average diameter, the roundness, the shape coefficient and the anisotropy have been obtained. And the changes of microstructural parameters before and after impact load have been analyzed. The results show that the microstructural parameters under impact load have certain rules of change. The study can provide microscopic theory basis for dynamic drainage consolidation method of soft ground engineering design.

Identification Study of Sedimentary Environment Based on Fuzzy Neural Network

As to the relationship between grain size and sedimentary environment, in this paper, an identification method of sedimentary environment is proposed based on fuzzy neural network, which combines the advantages of both fuzzy logic and artificial neural network. The proposed approach includes taking the key size parameters of clastic rock as inputs, being standardized and fuzzified by the network and being defuzzified of outputs. As a result, the fuzzy inference process is involved in the neural network sufficiently and successfully. The experiment shows that the improved network’s misjudgment rate of identification is 9.1%, less than 32.1% of BPNN obviously. Moreover, the former is faster than the latter in the aspect of convergence. Therefore, the network in this paper can fulfill the necessaries of practical projects.

NaBaPO4 powder with high emissivity is synthesized by solid state reaction. And infrared radiation properties of NaBaPO4 can be examined by XRD patterns, infrared transmittance spectra and infrared emissivity. NaBaPO4 powder, when doped with Mg2+ , Ca2+ and Sr2+ , will change the bond strength of metal ions and oxygen ions. It can also change the lattice vibration and increase the infrared emissivity. Among the materials of NaBaPO4 , we found that the NaBa0.85 Mg0.15 PO4 can reach the emissivity as high as 0.924 at the wave range of 8~14 μm.

Production of CT/PVDF Ultrafiltration Membrane and Its Application to Oilwater Separation

The organicinorganic blended ultrafiltration membrane is synthesized by the phase transformation method, which mixed perovskite powder (CT powder) with polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF). The pure water flux, oil rejection performance and antifouling property of ultrafiltration membrane were tested by the plate crossflow ultrafiltration device. The surface morphology, crosssectional morphology and the pollutants distribution of membrane were detected by using scanning electron microscope (SEM). The antifouling property and selfcleaning performance of CT/PVDF ultrafiltration membrane were tested by sewage experiments. The results show that adding 1% CT powder can greatly improve the flux of PVDF ultrafiltration membrane, slow down the rate of membrane flux decline and improve its antifouling property and selfpurification. In the oilwater separation experiment, the quality of penetrating fluid, such as turbidity, oil content and chemical oxygen demand are up to national emission standards.

Research Progress of Polyhydroxyalkanoate Synthesized with Mixed Bacteria

This paper systematically summarizes the research progress of which mixed bacteria produce PHA using substrate from organic wastewater. Generally speaking, mixed bacteria can produce PHA by two ways, AN/AE technology and ADF technology. Domestic researches emphasized the operating conditions in the reactor including the domestication and accumulation. Besides, the researchers extracted the microorganism producing PHA. Foreign researches emphasized the identification of different kinds of microorganism for keeping PHA. Whats more, they studied the influence that different substrates pose to PHA yield and composition and looked for more effective substrate from organic wastewater. Thanks to some technical breakthrough, PHA producing pattern can apply to industrial production. According to the current producing methods, this paper proposes that more reliable microorganism with high PHA storage should be identified and researches should go deep into the role of specific bacteria. Meanwhile, nutrition from the substrate needs to be balanced. Then it should optimize the operating conditions so as to achieve PHA production maximization.
