Epiphany is a critical step in the process of creative thinking. However it can only occur accidentally for want of the key heuristic information. With the development of information technology and extenics theory, how to enhance individual epiphany ability and make it a necessity have become a newlyemerging field of study. Based on the epiphany prototype heuristic theory, starting from the three stages of individual epiphany — to break the thinking set, activate prototype and acquire the critical heuristic information, the present paper tries to construct an information model and a route for creative thinking. Assisted by information technology, the paper combines the relevant theories of creatology, extenics and TRIZ, with the basicelement theory and extension transformation method as its basis. Teaching practices have proved that this approach can facilitate breaking the mental set and, to some extent, help make epiphany a certainty.

LI Yang, WANG Yu
Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2015, 32 (3): 73-78.
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2015.03.014
This paper, according to China's current production of plastic extrusion, proposes the optimized process parameters based on expert system to retrofit the existing control system. It also introduces the composition of expert system, manmachine interface, the establishment of information base, the design of inference machine and selflearning machine. By Visual Prolog, an expert system programmed language, the expert system configured with plastic extruder process parameters is finally realized with the required values of process parameters. Hence, it replaces the manual setting of process parameters by engineers, saves labor costs as well as improves automation and production efficiency.

The Optimization Design of Embedded Control System for LED Stage Lights
WEI Li-Hua, TANG Lu-Xin, ZHANG Qiang-Wu, JIANG Wei-Kai
Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2015, 32 (3): 110-114.
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2015.03.020
As an advanced application of LED light, LED stage light enjoys their unique superior performances of long life and fast independent color adjustment which are widely used in stage lighting. In order to continuously improve the product performance and reliability of LED stage lights, 32-bit embedded STM32F103 chip is used instead of the original 3-chip of 8-bit microcontrollers, greatly simplifying the circuit and procedure and significantly increasing the software performance. The researchers optimize and experiment the whole system′s circuit, the motion control way, the dimming way and the temperature protection to let the lamps have the better control performance, function and reliability, and to improve the motion control accuracy, stability and the approximately stepless four-color light dimmer. The principle we develop has been applied to many headmoving lights which proves very effective.

HUANG Juan, DING Shu-Xian, CHEN Guang-Ming, GAN Hong-Guang
Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2015, 32 (3): 119-122.
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2015.03.022
A new method is presented to determine the fitting direction while using Dr.Bridge′s linear editor to model various parabolas in this paper. By considering convex-concave property at monotone interval of a quadratic curve, four different parabola shapes with two controlling points fitted, are provided. Based on the method, two sets of symbols are introduced to describe the monotonicity and convex-concave property of parabola. And the identification of parabola fitting direction is presented, which explores a new way to fit a parabola by two controlling points when linear editor of Dr.Bridge is used. The presented method is suitable for determining the parabola fitting direction whether parabola is fitted by two or by three controlling points. The method is illustrated by its simplicity and convenience, and efficient for program realization, which greatly promotes the modeling efficiency.

The Structure Comparison of Bi-Si-B-O Sol-Gel and Melt-quenching Glass
LI Qian, YUAN Ge-Cheng, LUO Zhi-Jie, DENG Nan-Lin, ZHANG Pu-
Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2015, 32 (3): 133-136.
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2015.03.025
The glassy powder of the Bi-Si-B-Zn-Al-O system is prepared by sol-gel and melt-quenching methods. The powder is characterized by means of XRD, SEM, EMAX, IR, DSC/TG, and the similarities and differences of the microstructure under different preparations are explored roughly. The results show that both of the two have amorphous structure. Compared with melt-quenching one, the glassy powder of solgel method can be broken easily, and the particle size in the range of 1~10 μm is obtained after ball milling, the element of which is relatively close to the designed. The network structures of the two kinds of glassy powder are similar, the [BiO3 ] triangular, [SiO4 ] tetrahedron and [BO4 ] tetrahedron forming the glass′s basic network, but the meltquenching glassy structure in [SiO4 ] tetrahedron tends to be like framework, which makes the powder structure more stable, the glass transition temperature slightly higher than the sol-gel glass, and both of them are less than 600℃.
