Abstract: It studies the corrosion process of recrystallized silicon carbide (R-SiC) and Si3N4 bonded SiC (Si3N4-SiC) in molten aluminum alloy, and concludes that under the 1 080 hour thermal cycle heating conditions, R-SiC and Si3N4-SiC have good chemical stability. The study has high application value for the selection of practical phase change solar energy storage alloy materials.

Key words: phase change energy storage tank; R-SiC; Si3N4-SiC; silicon aluminum melt corrosion resistance;thermal cycle
