    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(719KB)
It has been the hot issues of current theoretical research and practice to seek solutions to social contradictions and conflicts and to improve the management level to maintain social stability and harmonious development. The opposite problem is one type of contradictory propositions whose principles and methods are based on the transforming bridge of extenics. It reviews the transforming bridge method and its application. The transforming bridge method and its principles focus mainly on describing the problemchain of conductive contradiction, the system of contradictory propositions and other problems such as the classification of the transforming bridge, its design, 〖JP2〗its system and its setting. The transforming bridge method has been applied mainly in product design, planning and social management. Future research may be done into the design of a transforming bridge by combining the transforming bridge method and theories with system dynamics, the conflict theory, the social movement theory and the theory of harmony.

    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2013, 30 (1): 18-24.   DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2013.01.004
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(887KB)
Silty clay samples taken 9.5 m beneath ground level from Shahu in Wuhan were mainly tested. Firstly, the  high pressure consolidometer was used to conduct the k0 consolidation tests for both samples of natural silty clay and those of remoulded silty clay respectively. Secondly, stress controlled triaxial shear device was also used to test the samples of natural and remoulded silty clay along different loading paths under different drainage conditions. All testing data were analyzed and studied in detail. Experimental results show that: 1) natural silty clay is overconsolidated soil with OCR and lateral pressure coefficient being 1.2 and 0.56 respectively, and its structure yield strength is a little bit bigger than its preconsolidation pressure; 2) initial elastic modulus and shear strength of the natural soil are both higher than corresponding values of the remoulded soil; 3) for triaxial shearing under consolidated drainage conditions, the diltancy values causing volume increment of natural samples are usually smaller than the corresponding values of remtsiltoulded soil samples; but for triaxial shearing under consolidated undrainage status, the diltancy tendency for volume increment of the natural soil samples is more obvious than the corresponding diltancy tendency of the remoulded soil samples.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(943KB)
Based on the investigation of ground collapse in the Guanghua basin, it analyzes the types of ground collapse, spatiotemporal distributing characteristics, control factors and the formation mechanism of karst collapse. The results show that the ground collapse is mainly concealed karst collapse in carbonate rock distribution area, and that the development degree of karst and the overlying loose rock soil mass are the basic formation conditionssubstantial changes in groundwater table and vibration load are the induced dynamic formation conditions of the karst collapse. Regarding the genetic characteristics of ground collapse, some preventive measures, such as controlling underground water level variation and reducing the disturbance of soil, are proposed. The study provides good reference for city construction in the Guanghua basin.

    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2013, 30 (1): 31-37.   DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2013.01.006
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(898KB)
Based on the solution to the dynamic impedance functions of pile-soil foundations under the conditions of layered soil, it studies the earthquake response of stadium stands with pile-soil structure interaction by combining the constant impedance method with the substructure method via finite element timehistory analysis. The finite element calculation results show that the maximum displacement and maximum acceleration response of the stadium stands under the action of different seismic waves are different due to the differences in the frequency spectrum characteristics of the seismic waves. The maximum displacement and maximum acceleration response of the stadium stands under the action of EL-Centro wave and artificial wave are close; the response under the action of TAR_TARZANA wave is slightly smaller, compared with the results of EL-Centro wave and artificial wave. Moreover, under the action of the three seismic waves mentioned above, the seismic response of the upper stand is obviously larger than that of the lower stand.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(687KB)
A special Video Image Process System has been developed to get the microscopic dynamic data on shockwaves. The data has been compared with the vehicle microscopic data (speeds, accelerations, headways and reaction times) before & during the propagation of shockwaves. It has been found out that the drivers will change their driving strategies when they “recognize” a shockwave. Thus, it proposes a Fuzzy Logic based Shockwave Recognition Algorithm and simulates it. Besides, it proposes a shockwave elimination method by combining the Shockwave Recognition Algorithm with the Internet of Things.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(685KB)
Regarding the problem of trajectory tracking on the ship, it proposes the shortest tracking way to ensure that the ship keeps up with the expected straight line rapidly. That is looking for the optimal tracking point in the expected straight line and making the ship trajectory tracking. To get the calculation location by utilizing the interpolation method when the ship is running, it designed a trajectory tracking controller for position tracking which is uniformly asymptotical, based on backstepping. Considering the existence of disturbance, it improved the controller with the L-two-gain disturbance attenuation. Numerical simulation has been performed on the platform of MATLAB. Experimental results indicate that the proposed controller can quickly track the expected line, while keeping good reliability and a small margin of error in the trajectory tracking.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(866KB)
On the basis that in original literature minimum vehicle scheduling cost was set as the only objective, it sets the maximum customer satisfaction index as another objective, and proposes a mathematical model for the linehaul-feeder multi-objective vehicle routing problem with time windows and virtual depots . The new model economizes the replenishment number of round trips, distance and time. K-means clustering method was applied to select some customers as the replenishment points, the problem was solved through the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm, based on sub-regions and the max-min strategy, and some instances were tested in the VRP web question bank. The experimental results show that the proposed model is more effective than the traditional non linehaul-feeder VRPTW.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(598KB)
Effects of technological parameters on copper by Ni-P-polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) coating were investigated. Experimental results demonstrate that with the increase of surfactant concentration and the decrease of the coating thickness, the PTFE content first ascends and then declines while Ni and P content varies in a small range, and the C content declines. When the pH value increases, the coating grows thicker, the PTFE content ascends while Ni and P content varies in a small scale and the C content varies between 3.47%  and 4.38%. As the PTFE concentration increases, the coating thickness declines, the maximum PTFE content 3.42% appears at the PTFE concentration 13 mL/L while the Ni and P content in the coating decreases, the C content first drops and then increases. Moreover, the coating thickness increases greatly under a higher bath temperature. The maximum value of PTFE content is 7.26% at 85 ℃. The Ni content decreases at a higher temperature and the P content varies between 9.82% and 10.95%. And the C content decreases with the increase of the temperature.
