Abstract: The peptides in the field of cosmeceutical applications were reviewed, the synthetic method and study of peptides were presented, and the peptides were classified by function and mechanism. There are three main categories of cosmeceutical peptides: signal peptides, neurotransmitteraffecting peptides and carrier peptides. Finally, the development of peptide industry in China was described.
