Snake Model Based on MR-MS and Its Application

Abstract: The snake model,which was developed by Kass et a1.in 1987,has absorbed a lot of gttention of researchers in the fleld of computer vision,and is applied to many cases of computer virsion.To solve its limitation,a new shake model bascd on MR-MS (muti-resolution and multi-scale) is presented and used for meadical image segmentation.The result of experiments shows that this new model is feasible.
