Automatic Meter Reading Device through GPRS Based on Embedded Linux

Abstract: This paper introduces a project of automatic meter reading device for electric power based on Linux, which is made up of MPC860 and wireless communication module. It promotes the level of meter reading through GPRS to transmit data.
