Fuel Consumption of Micro-gap Technology in Diesel Engine

Abstract: The principle that the Micro-gap Technology improved the cylinder sealing performance is analyzed. The fuel consumption test was conducted with three different piston and cylinder gaps,and piston ring opening gaps in 2135Ca diesel engines. The results show that if the piston and cylinder gap is 0.17mm and piston ring opening gap 0.50 mm,while the piston shape amended and chemical treatment of the Pistons and piston ring fuel consumption will be reduced the life time of piston ring prolonged,and ...
