The Treatment of Low Turbidity Kaolin Suspensions Containing Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate with Nanosilica and the Absorption Properties

Abstract: Anionic surfactant-Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate(SDS) was chosen as a representative of the dissolved low weight organic matters.With morphology theory,and electron microscopic observation and image analysis technology,it investigated nanosilica effect mechanism,adsorption flocculation efficiencies,and morphologic properties by conducting the coagulation and sedimentation experiment,and by adding of a new chemical-silica nanoparticles to 6 NTU Kaolin suspensions,The experimentation results show the treatment effec...
