A Simulation Model for Controllability and Stability of the Wagon with Unique Suspension System

Abstract: A multi-body system dynamics simulation model was established for a wagon by means of a redeveloped module of ADAMS/CAR.According to the national standard and the test evaluation method on the vehicle steering stability,the simulation and tests under typical working conditions were performed and discussed.The results indicate that the simulation is precise and reliable.The multi-body system dynamics simulation model can be applied to the optimization of Controllability and Stability.
