Numerical Analysis of Grouting Hardening Process of Shield Tunneling

Abstract: It introduced the purpose and the type of the shield grouting briefly. On the assumption that other parameters are identical, through the example, it used  finite element program GTS to simulate the situations considering or not considering hardening process on shield grouting .The main results are as follows:with the advancing of the shield tunneling , because of longterm consolidation effect by grouting, the surface will produce further settlement. With the effect of grout hardening fully considered, sclerosis is monitored to control further settlement, which is an effective means of controlling strata settlement.
