The paper analyzes the horizontal stiffness of laminated rubber bearing with anchor bolts when the rubber pad is close to the bolts. In agreement with the bearing deformation, approximate contact analysis is made, and a simplified stiffness function formula that is benefit to computer programming is concluded. Finite elastic deformation analysis of a four-column-supported prestressed shallow lattice shell roof shows that the bolts have influence upon the computed results more significantly.

This paper presents a classical application of a distributed network control system. The system is composed of two parts.One is the process control subsystem performed by monolithic computers which collect and process the locale datum.The other is the monitoring subsystem performed by a monitoring computer which communicates with the locale process control subsystem through RS-232 port.Then the datum from the locale process control subsystem can be displayed and processed by a monitoring computer.The given value of the system can be set and sent to the locale process control subsystem. Connecting remote computers through Network,the monitoring computer is also used as a remote server.Then remote computers can interview the server and remotely control the locale devices through Internet.

The PMMA abrasive resistant coating with and ZrO and ZrO-SiO2 has been prepared by Sol-Gel process.The result shows that the sol solution obtained at optimal conditions is stable ,the abrasive resistane of PMMA is improved from 3g to 10g and hardness from HB to 3～4H. So,the coating with zirconium has good abrasive resistance for PMMA.
