Application of Evolutionary Algorithm in Waste Location

Abstract: The thesis lays its stress on the site selection of transfer station and treatment station of city wastes. The construction cost and freight and negative effects on environment will be taken into consideration in total cost and be restricted to the lowest level. Moreover, optimized models will be established and evolutionary algorithm will be designed to confirm the location, capacity and construction cost of transfer station and treatment station that need to be built. It also determines the conjunction point of transfer station as well as the transfer station of treatment station. Last, algorithm simulation demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm.
