    Study on Swelling Properties of Polyether-Chitosan Hydrogel

    Polyether-chitosan hydrogels are prepared in acetic acid solution with chitosan/polyether using glutaraldehyde as crosslinker.The effects of temperature,the mass ratio of polyether and chitosan,the concentration of crosslinker on swelling ratio are studied with the orthogonal experimental method to optimize the technological condition.The result showes that when the temperature is 45℃,polyether:chitosan is(0.4∶1.0),crosslinker’s concentration is(0.05?mol/L),and the semi-IPN has the highest swelling ration;Polyether-chitosan hydrogel is pH sensitivity.

    Study on Purification Characteristics of Butyl Xanthate

    In order to understand the purification characteristics of butyl xanthate,this paper investigates the oxidation,decomposition and adsorption of butyl xanthate.In oxidation tests,air is puffed and oxidants(H2O2 and NaClO) are added.In addition power activated carbon is used as an absorbant.The concentrations are measured by using UV spectrum method.The results indicate that H2O2 and NaClO effectively oxidate butyl xanthate and the more the amount of power activated carbon the less the concentration of butyl xanthate.

    A new method is reported for spectrophotometric determination of trace amounts of chromium based on decoloarizing reaction of arsenazo M by Cr(VI) in H2SO4 medium.The fading in color is directly proportional to the amounts of chromium.The maximum absorption is at 550?nm and the apparent molar absorptivity is 2.33×104?L·mol-1·cm-1.The linear range is 0~1.2?mg/L of Cr(VI).The method has been applied to the determination of trace chromium in soil with satisfactory results.

    Preserved sweet potatoes with ginger flavor are made of fresh ginger and sweet potatoes as main materials.Researches are carried out on technological process of coloring,hardening and flavoring.The products have unique flavor and are rich in nutrition.The best recipe is as follows:0.3% sodium bisulfite,0.5% alum,9% fresh ginger,0.03% citric acid and an amount of sugar.

    Improving the Sensitivity of Fiber-optic Gyroscope by Using Photorefractive Crystal

    Fiber-optic gyroscope is a new kind of inertial device.It has the highest theoretic sensitivity.But at present,its actual sensitivity is far less than the theoretic sensitivity.The main cause is:there are Rayleigh scattering,birefringence phenomenon and other nonlinear effects,such as Kerr effect,in optical fibers.They will cause nonreciprocal phase shifts of beams.This paper proposes to compensate such nonreciprocal phase errors by using photorefractive crystal,a new kind of nonlinear optical material,that is,using its thermal lens effect to weaken or eliminate the influence of Rayleigh scattering,using its bilateral phase effect to eliminate or correct the influence of birefringence phenomenon and Kerr effect,and then to improve the sensitivity of fiber-optic gyroscope.

    Image segmentation is an important problem in image processing and computer vision.The image segmentation method based on active contour is researched,and a B-spline active contour using dynamic programming is proposed,which could converge stable and ensure global optimality of the solution.Lastly the experiment result is given to show that the proposed method is feasible.

    Grain boundary is the main block of propagation of microstructural short fatigue crack,and fatigue limit in nature is the minimum stress at which fatigue ctack may initiate but cannot propagate through the grain boundary.In this paper,a new method for the determination of fatigue limit of material using the non-propagation behaviors of crack is presented based on the analysis of propagation condition of microstructural short fatigue crack,which consider the effect of grain orientation on efficient driver of crack propagationand the critical barrier of grain boundary.It is shown that the method presented in this paper is practical and reasonable by comparing with others.

    This paper uses back propagation neural network to fit the volume coefficient model of asphalt.If the model formed by fitting is used to measure the flow of asphalt,the result shows that it is better than that of the model of linear and nonlinear regression.And it makes the precision measurement and control of flow of the asphalt weight possible.For the insufficiency of table data,spline interpolation is used to make the table data more available.The effect is satisfactory.

    Firstly,this thesis aims to introduce some knowledge about UVGI.Then,with regard to the present mathematics of UVGI and the mathematics of intensity field of a UVGI lamp,a new type of air conduit system of UVGI is designed.A new form of laying UVGI lamps is employed to improve the uniformity of intensity of Ultraviolet in air conduit and strengthen the intensity,thus to be resulted in a satisfactory sterilization effect.

    This paper uses random fractal character to describe the shape of vehicle license character,its complexity and characteristics.At the same time,it solves the problem that was caused by the chosen threshold when calculating the fractal dimension.Simulation results show that the method joining the fractal to wavelet is a new feasible approach to recognize vehicle license characters.But it should be mentioned that the calculation is mass.

    A new location method is proposed in this paper.Based on the analysis of RGB color field,the image of ID card is made color conversion by red component and located with difference method.And then the located areas are separately binarized based on mean and standard deviation.This method is simple and practical.It can effectively solve the problem of location of ID card numbers.

    As for an image with different gray values in the object and the background,in order to separate the object from the background,the minimum of the histogram is often used as the threshold to separate the image.In this paper,a new method is adopted based on neural network’s linear searching to determine the minimum of histogram.Through this method the optimal threshold is obtained and the instability and the unreliability of the minimum are conquered,which are determined by the thresholding metheod of the minimum.Experimental results show that adopting this new method to search for the minimum can obtain the absolute minimum,and using the optimal value to segment the image can separate the object from the background and get the satisfactory results.
