    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2019, 36 (06): 9-15.   DOI: 10.12052/gdutxb.190072
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(682KB)
Integrating the three successive processes (turnover of multiple unit, utilization of arrival-departure track and route assignment), a multi objective 0-1 type integer linear programming of multiple unit circulating, utilization of arrival-departure track and inbound-outbound route assignment was established with the following relations of the train stock's connecting conditions in different train running lines and the compatibility of the track and the switch occupied by the multiple unit, the minimum use of multiple unit, the maximum arrival-departure track utilization utility, and the minimum multiple unit travel distance were selected as the objectives. Through the model solution, the scheme of multiple unit circulating, utilization of arrival-departure track and inbound-outbound routes can be derived at the same time. Result show that global optimization for the three goals is achieved with the given model and algorithm and thus can provide some decision support for the actual operation.

A Two-stage Algorithm for Video Forgery Detection Based on Inception-V3 Network
Weng Shao-wei, Peng Yi-hang, Wei Bo, Yi Lin, Ye Wu-jian
    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2019, 36 (06): 16-23.   DOI: 10.12052/gdutxb.190046
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(1769KB)
In order to overcome the shortcomings (e.g. low recognition accuracy and poor localization ability) of existing video forensics techniques, a two-stage algorithm is proposed based on Inception-V3 network, whose advantage lies in the fact that it can accurately identify a forged video and locate its forged frames. After an extensive research, it is found that the average value of all the pixels in a pristine video sequence is always larger than its forged one after the video sequence is processed via several operations such as high-pass filtering and convolution. To this end, in the first stage, a simple algorithm is proposed in which a predefined threshold is employed to distinguish a forged video and a pristine video. Considering the fact that features of each frame need to be extracted manually in existing algorithms, the dense convolution kernel structure of Inception-V3 network is adopted in the second stage to automatically extract high dimensional and multi-scale features of each forged frame. Inception-V3 network can accurately locate forged frames in a forged video since dimensional and multi-scale features can more adequately express the input information. The experiments show that the proposed method performs very well both in forged video identification and forged frame localization.

    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2019, 36 (06): 24-31.   DOI: 10.12052/gdutxb.190079
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(798KB)
In order to better understand the cycling jersey color collocation preference with different customers and provide relevant clothing enterprises with some valuable reference on designing and developing, the fixation duration and beginning time of the various areas of different samples are recorded by eye-tracking apparatus and analyzed with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) by the means of variance based on analysis of cycling brand and questionnaire survey, taking cycling jerseys with two and three kinds of color collocation as experimental samples. In two kinds of color collocation, with the same background color and different ornament color, the result shows that there is no significant difference in fixation duration between different customers. However, with different background color and the same ornament color, the fixation duration would be quite different. Thus, in two kinds of color collocation, customers would pay more attention to the choice of background colors. Also, the result shows that, in three kinds of color collocation, where the background color is the same and the ornament color is different, the intensive correlation exists between fixation duration and customers, which shows that customers have different ornament color preferences for different background colors.

    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2019, 36 (06): 32-37.   DOI: 10.12052/gdutxb.190082
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(641KB)
The purpose of identifying the competitive product market structure is to understand the competitors and the competitive edge of the products. Consumers' browsing behavior is studied to discuss the relationship between consumer involvement and product sales. Resorting to the real clickstream data from an e-commerce website, the focal product market structure is modeled by multidimensional scaling technique (MDS) and K-mean clustering. It is found that dimension1 axis processed by MDS intuitively revealing product sales has a positive relation with the degree of consumer involving with product, that is, the competitive edge of the product. This study contributes to theoretically understanding product market structure through consumer involvement, and helps enterprises to detect their brand/product positioning and market competitive edge in time to adjust product supply plan.

A Spatio-temporal Dynamic Analysis of a Predation-competition System with Allee Effect

    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2019, 36 (06): 38-44.   DOI: 10.12052/gdutxb.190068
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(844KB)
The local population dynamics with Allee effect and its empirical research are one of the research hotspots in population ecology. Current studies show that the Allee effect caused by the low population density has complex impacts on the time dynamics and the spatial distribution of a single population or metapopulation. However, comprehensive understanding of how the Allee effect will affect the system dynamics in complex ecological relationships is not enough. An ecosystem containing predators with Allee effect and prey with competing relationship is established. And then, the effect of the Allee effect index and the population initial density on the population density and the spatial distribution of each species are analyzed by the ecosystem. The results show that the predators with Allee effect cause the system to produce damped oscillation, against the stability of predation-competition system; increasing the Allee effect threshold prompts the population density of predators to decrease, and the population density of preys to increase; the initial population size of predator has great impacts on the system, and if the initial value is large, the system finally reaches a stable state; however, if the initial value is small, the system is in chaos; the systems with Allee effect are more likely to generate an aggregated distribution pattern in space. These insights can provide necessary theoretical basis for species conservation.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(494KB)
The world urban agglomerations of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are accompanied by the world airport group. The development of linkages and the construction of a world-class airport group require the dislocation development and benign interaction of the five major airports. Macau International Airport is an important part of Macao's integration into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. However, the airport has problems with the development of Macao, the airspace and air transport between Hong Kong and Zhuhai, and the land and environment of Macao. Therefore, the future development of the Macau International Airport will require efforts to achieve leap-forward development in the Portuguese-speaking countries, the close cooperation between Zhuhai and Macao, and the business jet industry. However, the issue over the expansion and reconstruction of the Macau International Airport has been controversial. The original site expansion, the new reclamation area, and the new construction of the enclave Huangmao Island are compared and analyzed to explore a plan that is in line with the long-term interests of Macao.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(573KB)
Installing sensors and other devices in vehicles such as cars and aircraft have led to the emergence of a new generation of mobile cyber-physical system (MCPS). However, MCPS is mainly based on hardware resources and has low automation level. A MCPS modeling method is proposed based on software defined approach. Virtualizing the hardware resources by AADL (Architectural Analysis and Design Language), and then analyzing and processing the hardware resources through the software-defined method, the automation level of the MCPS system can be effectively improved. The mobile vehicle which autonomously processes and analyzes sensor data for controlling vehicle driving is taken as an instance and the system composition and model is described. Finally, the security of the system is analyzed by adding a secure annex. This instance demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of software-defined modeling method.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(929KB)
In order to optimize the household electricity load, an optimal control strategy is proposed for household electricity consumption to minimize the total electricity charges under the time-of-use electricity pricing policy. Local Particle Swarm Optimization (LPSO) algorithm is used to minimize the electricity charges of four kinds of household electricity loads, and then compared with no-optimization treatment and traditional Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) respectively. Using Python software, the mathematical model is built and simulated tests are carried out. The simulation results show that LPSO can significantly reduce the total electricity charges and has the advantages of strong global search ability and fast convergence speed, which can be applied to relevant researches in the field of household energy management.

    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2019, 36 (06): 74-79.   DOI: 10.12052/gdutxb.190095
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(778KB)
Due to the lack of the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) manufacturing experience, it is difficult for designers to consider the problem of signal integrity for high-speed PCB systematically, comprehensively and innovatively. The theory of signal integrity is used to comprehensively analyze the contradictions encountered in the design process, so as to solve the contradictory problems more effectively. Taking the problems encountered in PCB design and fabrication as examples, the method of signal integrity analysis is used to combine the design of copper bridge, differential trace and via holes with the feature of high-speed circuit and manufacturing process, and optimal solution is obtained by the extension innovation of transferring the differential traces from external layer micro-strip to the internal layer strip-line by blind holes. From the examples, it can be found that the signal distortion problem of high-speed PCB can be effectively solved by combining signal integrity analysis and design of manufacturing, and thus the high-speed circuit design and product development cycle is greatly optimized.

An Experimental Research on the Effect of Organic Matter on Mechanical Properties of Cementing Solidified Silt
Liang Shi-hua, Zhou Jin-cheng, Luo Qi, Lin Huan-sheng
    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2019, 36 (06): 86-91.   DOI: 10.12052/gdutxb.190022
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(883KB)
In order to study the adverse influences of organic matter on the strength of cementing solidified silt, humic acid was added to the dry silt to prepare silt with different organic matter content, then it was reinforced with different mass fractions of cement. The unconfined compressive strength test was used to analyze the content of organic matter and the effects of age on UCS of solidified organic silt. The test results show that the existence of organic matter seriously hinders the hydration reaction of cement, but the influence of organic matter on the strength of cementing solidified silt is limited, and beyond this limit (5%), the effect of the increase of organic matter content on the strength decline of cementing solidified silt is not obvious. The strength of cementing solidified silt increases exponentially with the increase of cement content. As the age increases, the strength of organic cementing solidified silt is still far lower than that of ordinary cementing solidified silt, indicating that the influence of organic matter does not decrease with age.

    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(398KB)
Waste rubber has brought serious "black pollution" to our fragile ecological environment. Rubberized concrete is an effective way to recycle waste rubber. In recent years, the interfacial properties between rubber and cement matrix have become a research hotspot. The research status of bonding mechanism between rubber and cement matrix is summarized, and various measures for improving the interface and performance of rubberized concrete are analyzed. In view of the weakness of single modification method, less waste utilization and imperfect characterization of interfacial properties of rubberized concrete, etc., the emphasis and direction of future research in the field of rubberized concrete are put forward. The results show that it is still necessary to strengthen the research on the following aspects of rubberized concrete:modifier concentration, dosage and economy; rubber type selection, mix ratio and preparation parameters; characterization, testing methods and influence factors of interfacial bonding performance, as well as interfacial structure, failure mechanism, interfacial and macro-performance relationship.

    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2019, 36 (06): 99-104,110.   DOI: 10.12052/gdutxb.190004
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(1143KB)
Organic Rankine cycle (ORC) is one of the most potential low-grade thermal-power conversion technologies, and the selection of design conditions and the system design and operation method considering variable conditions are of great significance for reducing the annual power generation cost or improving the annual power generation efficiency of the system. A synchronous optimization model of equipment structure parameters and system operation parameters of waste heat driven ORC system is established and a solution strategy proposed. Considering the characteristics of ambient temperature changing with seasons, four environmental temperatures are selected as the design conditions, the optimal design scheme is obtained respectively, based on the four design structures, while the annual operation scheme optimized, and the synthesis of annual variable conditions under different system configurations compared. The results show that it is important to optimize the system parameters and equipment structure parameters simultaneously to improve the system performance. With different environmental design temperatures, the optimal design structure and operation scheme are different. The system can be optimized according to the environmental temperature of multiple variable working conditions to optimize the annual operation scheme.

    Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2019, 36 (06): 105-110.   DOI: 10.12052/gdutxb.190012
    Abstract    HTML ( )   PDF(793KB)
Using the scaled-down model in a CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) simulation can deduce the dependence on computational hardware and improve the computational effectiveness. Based on the similarity theory, the method of CFD scaled modelling is proposed for neutral atmospheric flow, including the similarity criteria and corresponding boundary conditions. A virtual flow medium is introduced into the scaled simulation to ensure the requirements of the similarity criterion completely. The proposed method is verified in comparison of the full-scaled modelling with the scale-down one for a typical residential district. It is shown that the scaled-down modelling is of the ability to regenerate the same flow patterns and achieve the accuracy of same order as the full-scaled modeling. Meanwhile, the computational overhead can be reduced effectively.
