Computer technology to simulate the extended thinking in product scheme design is adopted to devise quickly more design schemes with higher quality. An innovative principle for scheme extension was presented, based on Extension network. The Extension network was defined to integrate the extension rules. The probable conflicting forms and their resolutions of the Extension network were advanced. The knowledge inference system, involved when the principle was applied in the intelligent system, was given from the perspective of artificial intelligence/knowledge engineering. The inference algorithm for utilizing the inference rules, based on Extension network, was given. The validity of the algorithm was analyzed. A case study shows that more alternative design schemes can be obtained by applying knowledge inference, based on Extension network, which means more probability of innovation is provided.

Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2014, 31 (4): 31-35.
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2014.04.006
In order to know the indirect effect mechanism of information sharing on operational performance, it proposed the theoretical model of the relationship between supply chain information sharing and operational performance with supply chain collaboration as the mediating role, and empirically tested it with the use of the structural equation model. The results show that information sharing content affects its quality, and that there are two indirect paths in the relationship between information sharing and operational performance, the first one being “content of information sharingsupply chain collaborationoperational performance”, the other one being “quality of information sharingsupply chain collaborationoperational performance”, which provides evidence that there is indirect positive impact of information sharing on operational performance with supply chain collaboration as the mediating role.

Metadata Management of Cloud Storage Platform Based on Sensitive Information SelfManagement
XU Qing-Lin, QIN Guo-Min, JIANG Wen-Chao, XIE Yan-Li
Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2014, 31 (4): 46-53.
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2014.04.009
Considering the sensitive information security issue on the traditional cloud storage platform, It divided metadata management into two parts , the client side metadata managementSub-Metadata Server(Sub-MS) and the cloud side metadata management-Core Metadata Server(CMS). Sub-MS aimed to extract independently ,maintain, read and write and store the metadata with sensitive information, which used the random redundancy algorithm in maintaining mapping relations, based on the redundancy between files and data blocks, to improve the files storage security. At the same time, Sub-MS used the request synchronism strategy to keep the consistency of mapping relations from data blocks to Data Server(DS)between Sub-MS and CMS, to insure the stability and reliability of the whole storage system. With multi-user concurrent access, the experiment about performance of reading and writing for the data sets of different sizes indicates that compared with HDFS and GFS, SISM still has good reading and writing performance and data persistence capabilities in managing metadata of sensitive information by itself.

The Method of Removing Burrs in Skeleton Extraction
WANG Wan-Xin, JIA Li-Feng
Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2014, 31 (4): 90-94.
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2014.04.017
To remove the burrs that occurred in skeleton extraction, it explains and verifies the solution of skeleton endpoints form a closed area. The skeleton at the intersection point was labeled and separated according to the various characteristics of burrs, Through the feature extraction, the conditions of eliminating burrs were set, and then sixteen structuring elements were designed according to the three principles-the similarity of shape, the covering of size and the composition of the different structuring elements, combined with the method of thinning by using structuring elements to remove the burrs absolutely. Lastly, these fiber segments were connected after the burrs were removed at the breakpoint according to the labels. The results show that this method can effectively solve the problems which are to eliminate the body and the end of skeleton because of wrong judgment, making as much of the main information about skeleton as possible retain, This method has certain feasibility and practicability.

Design and Simulation of Scattering Netted Dots on Light Guide Plate of Side-incident LED Backlight
LIN Xiao-Xin, XIANG Ying, PANG Xiao-Feng
Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2014, 31 (4): 95-99.
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2014.04.018
With LED selected as the light source of side-incident light guide plates, it solves the difficult problems with the design of scattering netted dots with various distances on light guide plates of side-incident LED backlight efficiently by deriving a rule of scattering netted dots arrangement, based on the optics theories such as total reflection, refraction and the principle of luminous flux conservation. The critical array pitch of LED is deduced, which can effectively eliminate the different light intensity caused by LED arrays. Then, the optical design software TracePro was used to establish the physical simulation model. Through repeated experimental investigation, optimum parameters have been obtained. The simulation results show that the illumination uniformity of the designed light guide plate is close to 93%(over 80%), which satisfies the requirements of the national illumination standard.

Dielectric, Ferroelectric and Piezoelectric Properties of theBa(Zr0.06 Ti0.94 )O3 -BiFeO3 Composite Ceramics
WANG Yi-Guang, DING Nan, TANG Xin-Gui
Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2014, 31 (4): 109-114.
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2014.04.021
Ba(Zr0.06 Ti0.94 )O3 -x %BiFeO3 (with x =0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8) composite ceramics were prepared by the traditional solid-state reaction method. The structural, dielectric, ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties of the ceramics were investigated. XRD results show that all the ceramics show typical tetragonal perovskite structures, with various lattice parameters induced by different amounts of BiFeO3 concentration. The dielectric permittivitytemperature curve shows that, both the temperature of phase transition and the value of dielectric permittivity have been affected by theBiFeO3 concentration. It has been found that, at the room temperature, dielectric permittivity of the ceramics increases with the increase of the BiFeO3 concentration. And the diffuse phase transition has been observed in the ceramics. Besides, all samples show clear ferroelectric and piezoelectric characteristics, and these characteristics change in the same trends along with the BiFeO3 concentration.

GUO Yan, WANG Zhi-Hong, LIU Li-Fan, RUAN Cai-Qun, LUO Ke-Shu
Journal of Guangdong University of Technology. 2014, 31 (4): 121-126.
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1007-7162.2014.04.023
The water quality and algae quantity of Lakes A and B in HEMC were monitored during Nov 2011 to Oct 2012. Assessed by the method of marking, Lakes A and B were at the level of heavy eutrophication, the water quality tended to exacerbate, and the nutrients accumulated gradually during the research period. The water quality and its fluctuation were related with the surface shape and surrounding environment and lakeshore of the lakes. The shoreline index developments of Lakes A and B were 1.91 and 1.38, so it was easy for them to be rich in eutrophication. The variations of algae quantity in one year were similar in both lakes, remaining steady at 105 , algae were in rapid proliferation from March to July, and their quantity reached an annual peak in July, which was influenced by the climate, lake functional planning , and the concentration and proportion of constant and trace nutrients.
